Peter Boné describes in his blog how he uses an iPod Shuffle to feed his old Amstrad computer. First of all, this brings back some really old memories - this machine was my first computer ever (I then swapped it for a C64, basically because all my friends had one so I could borrow games from them). Secondly, he uses an iPod Shuffle to feed the machine.

He downloaded some applications for the old machine, but without a cassette drive for his computer or some kind of cable to hook it up to the Amstrad, so he got the idea of converting the files to WAV format and transfer them on his iPod Shuffle.

With a cassette adaptor as pictured above, he can now play games on the Amstrad in random order. :-)

Do Not Wash iPod

Apparently, some kid from Bayswater, Australia, tried to repair his iPod with a screwdriver after his mother accidently washed it. Turns out, that wasn't exactly a good idea - the device exploded, leaving a burn mark on his bed.
