Count Those Mice!: "I was thrilled to see that Macworld today posted a review of MarsEdit 2.0. The application earned 4 mice, which for those of you who follow the magazine know, is a pretty great accomplishment. I’m betting that one day I’ll earn all five, but for the time being I’m quite pleased with this achievement.
Thanks to Michelle I found out that commenting on articles here was impossible due to some error which was most likely caused by a bug in Serendipity. I updated S9Y to version 1.2.1 today, and commenting works again.
For a long time (122 posts, to be precise), I have resisted using a desktop application for maintaining this blog. The result was that I did not update as much as I liked, simply because a web interface is a lot slower and a lot harder to use than a desktop application (which is why I don't like stuff such as Ajax-driven office applications, but that's a different story).
I have been avoiding an editor like ecto for the longest time, simply because I thought that a general desktop blogging client was not up to the task of being as flexible as the web client which came with the blogging software, but looking through all these options and settings ecto users enjoy, I guess I was wrong on that one.
